About Add Commas to Numbers
This tool automatically formats large numbers by inserting thousands separators (commas, dots, or spaces). It detects integers and decimal numbers inside your text and outputs clean, human-readable numbers for reports, CSVs, invoices, or content publishing.
Example
Input:
The population is 12345678 and the revenue was 9876543.21 last year.
Options: Thousands separator = comma, Replace inline = checked
Output:
The population is 12,345,678 and the revenue was 9,876,543.21 last year.
How to use it
- Step 1: Paste text with numbers into the input box.
- Step 2: Choose a thousands separator (comma, dot, or space).
- Step 3: Optionally enable “Format only whole numbers” or toggle “Replace numbers inline”.
- Step 4: Click Add Commas / Format Numbers and copy the result.
